  1. Intro to Animal Care for Teens (Ages 13-17)

    Animal lovers are invited to work with the museum's Living Collections Curator to learn about caring for all types of animals. Design a travelling habitat for the museum's reptiles, test frog water and learn about water quality, and meet animal rescuers in this workshop. Workshop is all four Saturday's in September. Register in person with a guardian by September4th. Free

    Come meet new friends and librarians, relax after school, and game to your heart's content! We have Xbox One, PS3, tons of great card and board games, LEGOs and art supplies if you'd like to get creative. Game night is intended for teens in grades 5 - 12 (ages 10 - 18). All video games are rated E (for everyone) through T (for Teens).

    Libraries as Launchpads is a “bootcamp” styled entrepreneurship program designed for aspiring entrepreneurs seeking to enter the market and gain traction or small, early stage businesses looking to grow. The program takes place over 5-weeks and includes in-person meetings in your library, online assignments and learning, peer-to-peer learning, and 1-1 feedback for startups from idea stage to early revenue.
