The Museum of Nature & Science presents “Crime Scene Science,” from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 24. The program is part of the Las Cruces Museum System’s “Summer Wednesdays” evening series. The Las Cruces Museums offer extended hours every Wednesday during June, July, and August, staying open until 8 p.m. The program is free and open to the public.
Participants will collect and evaluate evidence from a mock “crime scene” at the Museum of Nature & Science. Find fingerprints, analyze “blood” splatter, and detect trace evidence. All materials are included.
The Museum of Nature & Science is located at 411 N. Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with extended summer hours on Wednesdays until 8 p.m. (June through August), and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
