Imagine Your Story with the Library!
Your imagination is a powerful thing! It can take you to places you’ve never been, let you experience moments in history, or transport you to fantastic worlds full of unbelievable things! What story will you tell?
Branigan Library is pleased to offer two ways to participate in our 2020 Summer Reading Program, online via Wandoo Reader, or with the traditional paper reading logs.
Want to use Wandoo? Participants will be able to register online, set goals, record reading progress, and even participate in challenges! Challenges will change week-to-week and will be available to participants of all ages. This year, the Library will have three age categories in which participants can register: Children (ages Birth-10), Teen (ages 11-18) and Adult (ages 19+). Community reading goals for each age group have been established so that Las Cruces can come together to reach those goals and use the hashtag #lascrucesreads.
Want to use the paper log? Families can sign up outside the Library beginning June 1st from 10:00 AM -1:00 PM through June 5th. If you register online, be sure to stop by the Library to pick up your registration packet!
Follow the Library’s Facebook page (@BraniganLibrary) for weekly virtual craft programs and information.
Additionally,Thomas Branigan Memorial Library and the Las Cruces Museum System will be partnering with FYI (Family Youth Incorporated) at several lunch sites around the city to register families, record reading progress, and provide craft and cultural program packets (while supplies last).
