The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department has open spots for the fall and spring After School Program beginning Thursday, August 8. Limited spots are still available on a first-come first-serve basis. Please go to the following locations during regular business hours to get your child or children registered. Registration can also be done online at www.las-cruces.org/play
Parks and Recreation Administration Office (1501 E. Hadley Avenue) Hours Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center (304 W. Bell Avenue) Hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center (1401 E. Hadley Avenue) Hours Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Meerscheidt Recreation Center (1600 E. Hadley Avenue) Hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Payment & Program Registration
The program is available to children kindergarten through grade 5 and the cost per semester is $400, or four payments of $100. If full payment is made before the beginning of the program (August 8) the participant will receive a 10% discount for the fall semester session.
Program hours are Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. during Las Cruces Public Schools calendar school days (full days only).
Locations include: Alameda, Cesar Chavez/Sunrise, Hermosa, Highland, Fairacres, Mesilla Park, and Monte Vista Elementary schools.
