Las Cruces Projects
Amador Avenue
From Archuleta Street to 17th Street will have lane closures for both directions of travel with an additional detour for west bound traffic. Access to businesses will be maintained. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution. Motorists using this road as a through route only and not specifically for business should seek alternate routes if available.
17th Street
At Amador Avenue will have intermittent lane closures. Access to businesses will be maintained. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution. Motorists using this road as a through route only and not specifically for business should seek alternate routes if available.
Armory Road
From West bound Frontage Road of I-10 to North End will be closed to through traffic. Access to properties in the area will be maintained. Motorists should proceed with caution and seek alternate routes if available.
Brown Road
From Melendres Street to Main Street will be closed to through traffic. Detours will be in effect. Access to residents will be maintained. Motorists should proceed with caution and seek alternate routes if available.
Del Rey Boulevard
From Starburst to Settlers Pass will have lane closures and a detour route. Access to residents and businesses will be maintained. Motorists should seek alternate routes if available.
Settlers Bend South
From Ramrod Forge to Del Rey Boulevard will be closed to through traffic. Detours will be in effect. Access to residents will be maintained. Motorists should proceed with caution and seek alternate routes if available.
Las Cruces Avenue
From Church Street to Water Street will be closed to west bound traffic and detours will be in effect. Access to businesses will be maintained. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution. Motorists using this road as a through route only and not specifically for business should seek alternate routes if available.
North Main Street
At Church Street and Water Street may have intermittent lane closures. Access to businesses will be maintained. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution. Motorists using this road as a through route only and not specifically for business should seek alternate routes if available. The north bound Church Street to south bound Water Street Loop is open.
Lucero Avenue
From Alameda Boulevard to Main Street will be closed to through traffic. This closure will become a permanent closed with Lucero ending in a cul-de-sac at Main Street. Access to residents and businesses along Lucero will be maintained via Alameda Boulevard. Motorists should proceed with caution and seek alternate routes if using Lucero as a pass through only.
Triviz Drive
At the Well Pump House south of Fairfax will have shoulder work on the west side of Triviz. Right lane closures may be in effect. Access to business will be maintained. Motorists should seek alternate routes if available.
Williams Lane
From Melendres Street to West End will be closed to through traffic. Detours will be in effect. Access to residents will be maintained. Motorists should proceed with caution and seek alternate routes if available.
Lohman Avenue
From Paseo de Onate to Sonoma Ranch Boulevard will have lane closures and a detour route. Access to residents and businessess will be maintained. Motorists will be asked to decrease speed through the construction zone and should proceed with caution. Motorists using this road as a through route only and not specifically for business should seek alternate routes if available.

For information regarding closures you may WSMR at 678-1178 or 678-2222 for updates. Alerts will be present on the digital message board off US-70 east bound within the Las Cruces area.
I-10 Las Cruces, NM
The NMDOT and Mountain States continue work along I-10 in both directions from the Mesquite exit at mile post 150 to the Texas State line. West and eastbound drivers will continue to encounter a lane closure due to drainage work and construction of third lane within the median. Lane closures with temporary concrete wall barriers are stationed for traffic in both directions.
Motorists are encouraged to exercise extreme caution as they travel through our work zone site. The NMDOT and Law Enforcement does not encourage motorists to seek an alternate route, and to use caution while being courteous to other driver.
I-10 Deming, NM
The NMDOT will be conducting maintenance operations along the interstate from mile post 80-84 in both west and eastbound directions. Equipment and crew members will be seem in the median, with traffic control posted alerting motorists of speed reduction, so please use caution within this area.
I-25 Socorro, NM
AUI will continue it work on the bridge just north of Socorro, NM with width restrictions posted for 12 feet. Detours have been established for motorists traveling north and southbound, please use caution as speed is reduced to 55 MPH.
NM-152 Hillsboro, NM
The NMDOT will be conduct edge work along the roadway from mile post 32-25 in both directions. Along with chip sealing operations from mile post 0-40 in both directions where traffic control will be set up. A pilot car will assist in getting traffic through the work zone area. Please use caution in this area.
NM-85/California Street Socorro, NM
The NMDOT will be working on NM85/California Street installing a drop inlet for storm drains and will close the driving lane of the north bound side. Width restriction are in place to 14’ wide, where over size loads will need to exit at 147 in order to avoid any delays.
