What's NewNMSU Students: Check out the new Aggie Transit Route -- the Jordan Street Express! This free route provides quick connections to Jordan Street and University from both the Pan Am parking area and the Knox Street parking area. The next regularly scheduled Transit Advisory Board meeting is October 21, 2010 at 3 p.m in Room 2007-C at City Hall, 700 N. Main Street. RoadRUNNER Routes 10, 70, 80 have bus stops near City Hall. Fares
Please be ready with your fare, exact change or tokens, or one of RoadRUNNER Transit’s convenient passes when boarding. All buses have electronic fare boxes that accept the following fare payments; U.S. currency $1, $5, $10 & $20 dollar bills, $1 coins as well as 1¢ 5¢, 10¢, 25¢, & 50¢, tokens, transfers, change cards, and magnetic passes. Bus operators do not carry change. Fares or overpayments are Non-refundable. Passes
Where To Buy Your PassesBus passes can be purchased on board the bus. Lost or stolen passes will not be replaced. Tokens are purchased at the Transit office only.
TransfersTransfers between bus routes are easy and free. Transfers are issued only upon request at the time a fare is paid. Transfers are used to complete a one-way trip; a single transfer card is good for up to two transfers within 55 minutes. Transfer tickets ay be requested with cash fares, tokens, & 30 ride passes. A transfer card is not required with a 31 Day pass, Daily or weekly passes. Expired transfers will not be accepted. (See Fare Structure) HoursRegular hours: RoadRUNNER Bus operate from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. There is no Sunday service. Holidays: No Service on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Limited Service – The day after Thanksgiving and the day before Christmas Regular service – Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Good Friday, Columbus Day, and Veteran’s Day Please Check the “What’s New” tab for other holiday changes.
