What Is It?

Building Services has a staff of 38 employees that provide custodial, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (heating, ventilation and cooling), welding and building services to 90 city facilities and 82 parks. Building Services also manages the service contracts for elevator maintenance and repairs, pest control, fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, locksmith services, overhead door repairs, glass repair, carpet installations and custodial services.

What's New

Building Services has two primary responsibilities: performing maintenance and repair (preventive maintenance, deferred maintenance, trouble calls, etc.) on city owned buildings, ballparks and parks. Also, performing alterations requested by our customers and managing varies contracts for outside services, i.e. pest control, fire extinguisher, mat rentals, elevator maintenance etc..
