Department's Annual Reports

Residents have easy access to several reports developed by City agencies that range from budget, financial, business, building, annexations, water, sewer, and much more. Anyone looking for a specific report that may not be listed on the City of Las Cruces website should contact the department responsible for the information. If you don’t know where to start, then contact the community liaison by email or call (575) 541-2192 for assistance.

Building, Business & Other Reports

The public can access a number of reports from the Community Development Department ranging from annexation, census and other reports to building and business reports that have a monthly break-out by various years. These documents may be found on the Reports page in Community Development.

Financial Reports

The Finance Department develops and maintains many reports and documents related to the City’s annual budget, the Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR), the Popular Annual Financial Reports (PAFR) and auditors’ reports for Animal Service Center of the Mesilla Valley, the Mesilla Valley Regional Dispatch Authority, and the South Central Solid Waste Authority. These documents may be found on the Reports page in Finance.

Las Cruces Fire Department

The Las Cruces Fire Department produces a Community Report to inform the public how the department and fire personnel are involved in keeping residents safe by providing fire protection and education. The report provides statistics on activities and services, and information about personnel.

Las Cruces Police Department

The Las Cruces Police Department compiles annual reports covering crime statistics within the city and complaints against employees of the department. These reports are open to the public and available to view. They include the Crime Statistics Annual Reports and the Professional Standards (Internal Affairs) Annual Reports.

Las Cruces Utilities

Natural Gas, Water and Wastewater, Solid Waste, Administrative Services and Regulatory & Environmental Services/Technical Support comprise the Las Cruces Utilities Department. Information from all of these areas can be found in the annual report along with financial, utilities emergency response, community outreach and utilities resources information.

Thomas Branigan Memorial Library

The City’s library provides a year in review for how our community used library services during the fiscal year (July 1-June 30 annually). It reports on outreach activities with children, teens and adults, customer service improvements, and much more information.
