Rail Readers Book Club at the Las Cruces Railroad Museum 2018
At 11 a.m. October 17, 2018, the Rail Readers Book Club will discuss “Rattle His Bones,” written by Carola Dunn, at the Las Cruces Railroad Museum, 351 N. Mesilla St.
In “Rattle His Bones,” journalist Daisy Dalrymple often inadvertently becomes tangled up in murders. This time she is interviewing staff at Kensington’s Natural History Museum for an article about dinosaurs, when one of the curators is killed.
Her natural curiosity and her skills as a journalist give her an advantage in unofficially helping her fiancé, Detective Chief Inspector Alec Fletcher of Scotland Yard. Adding to the mystery of the murder is a newly-discovered jewel theft, and Daisy sets out to prove the two crimes are related.
The Rail Readers Book Club meets at 11 a.m. on the third Wednesday of the month.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. For information, visit the City’s Museum System website or call 575/647-4480
