Arts and Crafts Show at Eastside Community Center 2018

The Eastside Arts and Crafts Show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 25, at Eastside Community Center, 310 N. Tornillo Street. The event will showcase original work by Eastside seniors, which will be judged and awarded prizes for first, second, and third place in each category. Judging will begin at 9 a.m. The show is free and open to the public.

“This year’s show will feature four arts and crafts categories,” said Michael Garcia, Senior Programs Recreation Facility Manager. “We hope the show will garner more interest in what the Eastside seniors are doing.”

Eastside Community Center is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday. For additional information, visit the website at: http://www.las-cruces.org/departments/quality-of-life/senior-programs or call 575/528-3012.
