Summer Studio Art Classes at the Las Cruces Museum of Art 2018
Registration for the Las Cruces Museum of Art’s Summer Studio Programs Art Classes is open. Classes run from June 11 through August 4. Classes are filling up fast, so register early!
The Studio Programs Art Classes provide the community access to creative learning opportunities. Children, teens, and adults are encouraged to learn a new skill or enhance existing knowledge while guided by local, experienced, and qualified professional artists.
Spend your summer discovering the artist within you through various class options including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, comic book illustration, and much more! Classes are offered for all levels of artists.
Registration is at the Museum of Nature and Science, 411 North Main Street. Students must register in person from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Registration ends June 9 for adult classes. Registration for Kids/Youth classes are due the Saturday before the class starts. All classes are dependent on minimum enrollment.
The Museum of Art is located at 491 N. Main Street and open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This summer, the museum is also open every Wednesday until 8 p.m. For additional information, visit the website at: museums.las-cruces.org or call 575/541-2137.
