“Women in STEM” Panel Discussion at the Museum of Nature and Science 2018

“Women in STEM,” a special panel discussion featuring six women from NASA and White Sands Missile Range, will be conducted from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St.

The panel discussion will focus on the challenges women face in science, technology, engineering and math. Panelists will include Janae Roberts, Prudence Nicklaus, Susan Harper, Pamela Egan, Karla James, and Taffy Miller. The women will talk about their journeys, trials, and triumphs as they have worked to become respected experts in their fields.

The panel discussion will be in association with a movie about women in STEM to be shown at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Rio Grande Theatre, 211 N. Main St.
