Spring Art Classes 2018
Brush off the winter blahs through creative expression at the springtime session of Studio Programs offered by the Museum of Art (MOA).
The MOA, 491 N. Main St., will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 2, for the Las Cruces Art Ramble. During Friday’s event, the museum will offer an up-close look of its Studio Programs. Museum visitors will be able to tour the art studios, speak with instructors and students, watch art demonstrations, and see art produced by students.
The Studio Programs provide access to creative learning opportunities for children, teens, and adults in Las Cruces. Classes are for people of all skill levels, and students have the chance to learn a new skill or enhance existing knowledge while guided by local, experienced, and qualified professional artists. Celebrate spring by discovering your artist within through classes including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, mixed media, comic book illustration and even creating rain bells!
Registration is now underway from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays for the March 28 through May 12 series of classes. Deadline to sign up is March 17, and must be done in person only at the Museum of Nature & Science, 411 N. Main St.
