Youth Volleyball League 2018

The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department will be offering individual and returning team registration for the 2018 Summer Youth Volleyball League which begins June 5.

Registration for new players will be from 9 a.m. to noon on May 5, until full at Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave. The cost is $45 per individual, due at the time of registration and includes a game jersey ($35 for returning players if no jersey is needed).

Divisions offered:

  • 3rd Grade Clinic (Co-ed)
  • 4th/ 5th Grade (Co-ed)
  • 6th/7th/ 8th Grade (Co-ed)

4th/5th, and 6th/7th/8th grade divisions will play Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 5 through June 28. 3rd grade volleyball, which will be in a clinic format consisting of lessons and instructional play, will be held Wednesdays from June 6 through June 27.

All participants will be required to have a Parks & Recreation Activity ID card. For a child to obtain an ID card, the parent or guardian, along with the child, must appear in person at Meersheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.

Proof of the child’s age and grade level are required to receive an activity card. Cards are issued Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. All necessary documentation must be submitted for individual players and returning teams during the registration dates before they can be scheduled for league play.
