3 Crosses Rescheduled 2017
As part of the ongoing Solano Drive/3 Crosses Avenue/N. Main Street Intersection Project, the New Mexico Department of Transportation is scheduled to close 3 Crosses Avenue from Spitz Avenue to Alameda Boulevard for approximately two weeks beginning Thursday, Sept. 21. The closure was originally scheduled for Sept. 11, but was rescheduled.
The traffic signal at the 3 Crosses/Alameda intersection will be placed in flashing red mode during that time to help control traffic flow.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes as heavy congestion and significant delays are expected in the area, particularly at the intersections at Alameda and Hoagland Road and Alameda and Madrid Avenue.
City of Las Cruces Streets and Traffic Operations and the Las Cruces Police Department will be monitoring traffic flow in the impacted areas and will implement additional, temporary traffic control measures if needed.
Traffic updates will be posted on the City of Las Cruces website at las-cruces.org, Facebook page @CityofLasCruces and Twitter feed @clcgov.
