2017 Music in the Park Series

The Parks & Recreation Department’s 2017 Music in the Park Series will begin with the Mayor’s Jazz Fest at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, at the Plaza de Las Cruces in Downtown.

This year’s Mayor’s Jazz Fest features performances by Las Cruces’ own Felipe Guzman, the El Paso Jazz Collective, and the cool and contemporary jazz sounds of Lao Tizer featuring Eric Marienthal from Los Angeles, CA.

Performances will then move to Young Park, 1905 E. Nevada Ave., beginning at 7 p.m. on June 4, with a return visit from KISS ARMY, the great KISS tribute band from Louisville, KY..

The series includes an eclectic mix of performances from local, regional, and nationally recognized artists.
