Museum of Art hosts Studio of Art Classes 2017

The session will run for six weeks; March 22, through April 29.

The Studio Programs Art Classes exist to give our community access to creative learning opportunities. Children, teens, and adults are given the opportunity to learn a new skill or enhance existing knowledge while guided by local, experienced and qualified professional artists.

Students will be encouraged to have fun and be inspired to discover their inner creativity through various class options including beginning and intermediate ceramics, drawing portraits, still life painting, and art exploration! classes are offered to all levels of artists.

Registration is at the Museum of Nature and Science, at 411 North Main St. Students must register in person from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Registrations are due one week before classes start.

The Museum of Art is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. For more information, visit the website at: or call 575-541-2137.
