Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program Meeting 2017

The City of Las Cruces RoadRUNNER Transit is hosting an informational meeting regarding the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program (DBE). The DBE program was created to provide a level playing field for small minority - and women - owned companies wanting to do business with the City on projects funded wholly or in part by various U.S. Department of Transportation agencies.

As a recipient of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds, the City’s Roadrunner Transit is required to establish contracting goals every three years under the DBE Program. Registered DBE businesses have been notified of the City’s FY2018-FY2020 goal of 0% and anticipated contracting opportunities, and are invited to discuss them at one of three meetings on Tuesday, September 5. A copy of the proposed DBE goal and methodology can be emailed to requestors by contacting RoadRUNNER Transit at roadrunner@las-cruces.org or by calling 541-2500.

The meeting times on September 5 are as follows:

10:00 – 11:00 a.m. City Hall (700 N. Main St.) Conf. Room 2007-A

2:00 – 3:00 p.m. City Hall (700 N. Main St.) Conf. Room 2007-A

5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Roadrunner Transit (300 W. Lohman Ave.) Conf. Room
