Children’s Water Festival 2017

The Water Festival is something many 4th grade students look forward to attending each year, says Rhonda Diaz, Water Conservation Coordinator for Las Cruces Utilities. It takes place from 9 a.m.– 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 13.

This year, students will tour 34 thought-provoking and entertaining booths, motivating them to learn how valuable a resource our water is, that it is in limited supply, and that we can do more with less.

Twenty- eight community organizations are participating, plus six City departments:

  • Las Cruces Utilities
  • Las Cruces Museums System
  • Las Cruces Fire
  • Las Cruces Police
  • Las Cruces Public Works
  • Las Cruces Parks and Recreation
