Liquor License Input

Liquor License Input

The City of Las Cruces held a Public Input Meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, to discuss a resolution concerning the sale, transfer and issuance of liquor licenses in New Mexico.

The City asked residents for input on liquor licensing in the State of New Mexico and a draft resolution which, as written, supported a proposed New Mexico State Bill allowing New Mexico-produced spirits to be sold at establishments licensed to serve beer and wine.

The draft resolution and public input will now be taken to City Council at a Work Session on Monday, October 22, then is expected to be presented to City Council on Monday, November 19 at a regular City Council meeting.
