UPDATE 6/21/2017: Water Street between Bowman and Amador Avenues will be closed for four weeks beginning June 26.
"The Closure of the two-lane street, which currently has one-lane open, will reduce the overall amount of time Water Street would need to be closed by two weeks," said Mandy Guss with the City's Economic Development department. "The full closure will minimize impacts to businesses on that one-block section and help ensure the quality of the rehabilitation, avoiding unforeseen cuts it new pavement."
