Group Bike Riding Program 2017
The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department’s Group Bike Riding Program is held from 9:30 – 11 a.m. every Friday and meets at various locations throughout the City. The program is for residents who want to start bicycling for exercise or return to riding. It is intended for the 50 plus community, but anyone 18 and older is welcome to participate.
Each ride has a set distance and designation ranging from 10 - 20 miles at 12-15 m.p.h. Rides may be cancelled due to weather. Routes are local, utilizing city bike paths and roads. Participants are required to provide their own bikes, helmets, patch kits, water, snacks, and other items needed for each excursion.
