[ARCHIVED] Team Up to Clean Up Event – Call for Volunteers

Volunteers are needed! The Parks & Recreation Department Keep Las Cruces Beautiful (KLCB) will conduct its next Team Up to Clean Up event from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 20 in City Council District 1, which is represented by Councilor Kasandra Gandara. A roll-off container, provided by Las Cruces Utilities Solid Waste, will be available at Valley View Park, 750 S. Espina St. for District 1 residents to utilize during the event. Parks, KLCB and LCPD Codes Enforcement staff will be at the location to provide additional information. Get rid of weeds, trash or junk, graffiti, and other debris in your neighborhood. Supplies such as bags, gloves, and litter grabbers will be provided by KLCB. Recruit your neighbors and friends to join efforts to maintain property where you live.

Anyone living in District 1 can contribute to the beautification of the City of Las Cruces by joining KLCB to help clean up their neighborhood! Keep Las Cruces Beautiful along with LCPD Codes Enforcement may have specific locations that need attention. Call 575/528-4506 for information. A clean neighborhood is a safer community for all residents!
