As part of a new fiber optics project along the W. Hadley Avenue corridor, W. Hadley Avenue will have a temporary west bound lane closure from 1st Street to Valley Drive for telecommunication improvements. Two-way traffic will be provided during the construction.

The work time has been extended and will start on Saturday May 30 and continue June 1 - 3. For the public’s convenience, crews will work only from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will leave the evenings free of construction activity.

The temporary lane closure will not go into effect until after the morning rush hour and will be removed before the afternoon rush hour. Access to the surrounding residents and businesses will be maintained by leaving the driveways accessible. For more information, call the Public Works Department/Construction Management at 575/528-3098. The TTY number is 575/541-2182.
